Attack on NOUN University in Imo: Police command arrests over 8 suspects

In Imo State, Nigeria, the police have arrested over eight suspects in connection with the arson attack on the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) study center at Eze Oke Nsu, in the Ehime Mbano Local Government Area.

The attack, which occurred earlier this week, resulted in the destruction of the university building. Alongside the arson at NOUN, the residence of former senator Frank Ibezim was also set ablaze by the same group of suspected arsonists. Investigations are ongoing, and the police are determined to bring all culprits to justice .
