Former world footballer and incumbent President of Liberia ,George Weah concedes defeat to opposition Presidential candidate,Joseph Boakai at the just concluded Presidential poll in Liberia
The former football lagend in his wisdom called Joseph Boakai congratulating him on his election victory after a tight presidential runoff,The 78-year-old Boakai lost to Weah, 57, by a large margin in the second-round presidential vote in 2017.
Although many critics about George Weah’s style of leadership, seven percent of Liberians said that he fails to improve the lives of the common man as he did not keep to his electoral promises.
The United States of America has called to congratulate Weah for accepting defeats and asked others to follow by example
