The returning officer Prof.Abayomi Fasina of the Ekiti State University on Sunday declares Governor Hope Uzodinma as the winner of the governorship election.
The incumbent governor Hope Uzodinma scored a total of 540,308. At the same time, Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party came a second distant with 71,503, and Anthan Achonu of the Labour Party polled 64,081 votes to come third.
