The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has officially debunked claims about any ongoing recruitment exercises. Several fake advertisements have circulated on social media, misleading the public into believing the NIS is hiring. The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board clarified that these recruitment adverts did not originate from them and are attempts by fraudsters to scam job seekers.
The public has been advised to disregard these false reports, and any official communication regarding NIS recruitment will only be shared through official channels.
