A young man 18 year old was said to have driven a car without a drivers licence was involved in a fatal car accident,killing three of his friends on the spot.
This incident happened at the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge toll gate around 1:00 AM yesterday morning.
According to reports eight people were in two separate vehicles when the crash happened, and sadly, three of them lost their lives.
Two died on the spot, and one passed away a few minutes after being pulled from the wrecked car.
The two drivers from both cars came out unharmed, no scratch on their body.
They came out hale and hearty, while their friends lay dead.
The police as of when arriving the scene handcuffed the survivors rather than taking the corps for an autopsy, this has sparked mixed reactions and unprofessional behaviour displayed by the Nigerian Police.
Those who were at the scene beg the officers to look at the issue as a matter of urgency by evacuating the corps from the public rather than focusing more attention to the survivors.
After many complaints, the police finally let them go, and the crowd began trying to help, searching for the families of those who had died. It was a deeply sad night, filled with loss and a feeling that things should have been handled differently.
