A Nigerian Senator ,Shehu Sani has berated the northern leaders to take lessons from the recent uprising in the region,in recent time the #EndBadGovnanceinNigeria protest was held across the country but was taking to another level in the northern part of Nigeria were youths were seen looting and destroying properties worth millions of naira.
The human right activists said monies and Russian flags were shared to protesters both in Kaduna and Kano as these might threatened the countries sovereignty, Sani said.
“sharing monies and Russian flags are not the solution to the problem,the Governor ,Traditional rulers Business and intellectuals must take further action by creating awareness to their people letting them know the consequences of their action” waving a Russian flags is extremely dangerous he said.
Other socialite like Verydarkman known as VDM and ,a human right activists,Reno Omokri has warned Nigerians to be weary of a foreign flags been waved at a protest ground as this not a good way to go.
Senator Shehu Sani pleads with the northern leaders to do something drastic about the endemic poverty and destitution,illiteracy,Chronic underdevelopment,abject neglect,religious extremism and terrorism that has demonised the region.
“Guns and tanks can suppress the flame but not to extinguish the fire” he said. meanwhile others blamed the northern Islamic cleric for not doing a enough to improve the standard of their followers and also preach peace rather hitting up the polity with their messages.
Shehu Sani,a former senator representing Kaduna Central has called on all Nigerian northern leaders to look at the mirror and not the telescope “We have the cattle to build our wealth,we shouldn’t be looking for a scape goat,he berated.
