The Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Ekwo, in a landmark judgment today declared that the electoral process of the Democratic Party was not in accordance with the constitutional law.
The court, therefore, postponed all hearings on the leadership of the Edo Democratic Progressive Party in the school scheduled for February 22, 2024.
There is no candidate. As a result, Asue Iguodalo and the People’s Democratic Party will not be on the voting list of this important election.
The decision sent shockwaves through Edo State politics, changing the governance race.
