A Canadian tourist was said to have been beaten to death by four men on O’Connell Street and Cathal Brugha Street in Dublin last month.

The young man, aged 40, whose name was given as Neno Dolmajian from Montreal, was attacked in the early hours of June 23, where he died today.

A Garda spokesperson said four men have been arrested in connection to the incident so far.

“Four men have been arrested and charged and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice,” he said.

The men were denied bail due to the severity of the alleged offenses and concerns about flight risks.

“As this matter is before the court, no further information is available,” a Garda spokesman said.
