Entertainers set for soccer showdown with Super Eagles stars for ATTOM Foundation
It would be an epic battle on the field of play as football legends and top entertainers are set to clash for the ATTOM Yahaya Foundation Charity Champions Cup.
The event is slated for Saturday June 15 at the National stadium, Abuja and is organised by the ATTOM Yahaya Foundation to raise funds to provide amenities for the visually impaired.To grace the soccer event are Super Eagles legends including Victor Osihmen, Onazi, Omeruo Kenneth among others. The Super Eagles stars would trade tackles with Tiwa Savage, Kaffy, Funnybone, Craze Clown, Kemen among others.
It was equally gathered that ex-footballers, Jayjay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo would support the foundation as coaches of each team. At a media chat in Lagos, Attom Yahaya, the brain behind the soccer competition, explained that his NGO which has been in existence for about seven years is set to take its program a notch higher in the 2024 edition.
According to Attom, proceeds from the match and activities will be used to purchase an ultra modern mobile eye clinic to help support the visually impaired in Nigeria.Dr. Kaffy and one of the key stakeholders of the event, stated that it was important to support the initiative as the visually impaired persons in Nigeria are in dire need of empowerment, and therefore needs the support of the society and well meaning Nigerians to rally round the initiative.
