Funke Akindele’s ‘A Tribe called Judah’ hits N1.4billion in box office

Seasoned actress Funke Akindele has continued to break records as she established yet another big milestone in the film industry

The movie actress, who became the first Nigerian filmmaker to earn more than a billion in cinema last month, has not shied away from her historic success.

In a new update, A Tribe Called Judah has made over N1.4 billion in around ten weeks since its launch on December 15, 2023, maintaining its title as the highest-grossing Nigerian film ever.

The film has undoubtedly become a favorite of many at home and abroad.Funke Akindele responded to her success on X, writing: “Thank you!!! To all the young ladies out there, just know that you can also achieve success. Remain focused and keep working hard.”
