Ex-Minister,Charles Chukwuemeka Ugwuh arrested for alleged N3.6b fraud

Former Minister of Commerce and Industry,Charles Chukwuemeka Ugwuh has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission,EFCC for N3.6b fraud .

Spokesperson for the Crime commission,Mr Dele Oyewale reveal to vanguard that Charles Chukwuemeka and his accomplice,Chief Geoffrey Ekenma were also picked up at No 2, Musa Yar Adua Way, New Owerri, Imo State.

Charles and Geoffrey perpetrated the fraud through a company, Ebony Agro Industries Ltd to the Ex-Minister.

A new generation bank petition the Ex-Minister for failing to meet up with the loan facility he accessed as all efforts to reach him proves abortive according to the petitioner.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon investigations are concluded, EFCC said on Monday
