President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has directed the Perm Sec of the Humaniterian affairs ministry,Olumuyiwa Enitan,to take over from Betta Edu who was involved in N585m scandal.
Betta Edu was suspended by President Tinubu over an approval given by the minister to transfer the sum of N585m in her personal account, meanwhile the Perm Sec has been directed to take over with immediate effects.
The Special Aviser to the President on Media and Publicity,Ajuri Ngelale had stated in a statement on Monday that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu directed the suspended minister to handover to the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
The suspended minister was advised to cooperate fully with the investigating authorities as they conduct their investigation
