Israel says two Hezbollah commanders, one jihadist killed

Israel recently reported targeting high-ranking members of Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad in a series of airstrikes, killing two Hezbollah commanders and a jihadist militant. These individuals were reportedly involved in coordinating attacks on Israel following the escalation in hostilities that began with Hamas’s incursion on October 7.

The strikes, which included areas in southern Beirut, triggered a response from Hezbollah, who fired rockets into northern Israel. The confrontations reflect ongoing tensions, as both sides continue attacks amid broader regional concerns.
