Explosion rocks , Maitama ,Abuja

Some resident of Maitama, in Abuja have raised an alarm over what they described as an explosion in that area.

Although the information we got was sketchy as at when filing this report,but according to unconfirmed report,two men sustained various degrees of injuries.

They are different interpretations of what must have led to the explosion,as some said it was a truck that came to pick up BPE trashcan,,while they were in the process of emptying the second trash can,an explosion occured.

In recent time,there have been reoccurring explosive incidents which occured in Ibadan and Kaduna, although actual cause has not been ascertained .both States government from Oyo and Kaduna have promised to unravel the circumstances that led to the explosion which saw millions of naira worth of properties been destroyed by this incidents,while unspecified numbers of people were also killed during the explosion.
