BREAKING: Finland will officially become the 31st member nation of NATO on Tuesday, in spite of Vladimir Putin’s threats to retaliate if they joined the alliance.
“It is a historic moment for us. For Finland, the most important objective at the meeting will be to emphasize NATO’s support to Ukraine as Russia continues its illegal aggression,” said Finland’s Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto.
Sweden is also expected to become a full-fledged member within months.
