Unknown gunmen attacked Soludo’s home town,Soldiers,hoodlums killed

Unknown gunmen on Saturday struck the home town of the current governor of Anambra State,Prof Chukwuma Soludo killing two soldiers on the spot and four of the attacking hoodlums were also killed by security agents.

According to source the hoodlums attacked the soldiers at an army checkpoint as two of the soldiers were killed on the process,but the security agents  mobilized and gave them hot chase as superior fire were opened on the criminals killing four of them in the process while others escaped with bullets wounds.

Anambra State Police Command Public Relation Officer (PPRP),Tochukwu Ikenga,has confirmed the incident in a statement during press time.

Mr Ikenga said the Police has been deployed to the scene of the attack to forestall any break down of any Law and order, appeal to indigene to report any suspicious movement in their environs especially as the yuletide season is fast approaching.
