BREAKING:ASUU declares one day nationwide protest rally

Report reaching us from CityNews that the Academic StaffUnion of Universities (ASUU) is set to embark on one day nation wide peaceful protest over the Federal Government policy of no work no pay for lecturers in Nigeria.

The online news platform gave more insight on ASUU planed strike which will be organized at the branch level of the the union across public university campuses nationwide and it will take place as a free-lecture day for all lecturers who are members.

The Lagos State Chapter Chairman(UNILIAG)Dr. Dele Ashiru,confirmed this to Tribune,on Sunday,Novenmber 13, 2022.

The Lagos State Chapter Chairman said that the essence of the protest is to draw the attention of Nigerians home and abroad on how  the FG plans to casualize the academics no-work-no-pay policy to remunerate them
