Bandits, kidnappers resume hostilities in Nigeria, FG warns against raising funds for ransoms

There are mixed reactions over the rising insecurity in the country as videos of bandits and their abductors are seen all over the social medias platforms.

These abductions which are only restricted to the North-West have in recent time spread to other parts of the country, a Federal Capital Territory,Abuja which should be the most secured cities has now become a gateway for most of these criminals who operates freely without any confrontation from the security agencies.

The bandits took their battles to the FCT area of Bwari,where over 23 people were abducted for ransom .

There was a scenerio were a victim’s family could not raise a ransom, eventually she was murdered

The Federal government has warned against raising funds for ransoms as these will encourage more people going into this criminal act.

A video of one of the Kidnappers seen on army uniforms holding an AK-47 rifle,while those who were abducted were seen on the video been treated like animals in Akoko Edo in Edo State.
